Well...I have been away from blogging for awhile, but am back!

Recently I'm into flowers.  Not really real ones with certain
names, just abstract splashes of color suggesting flowers.  They're
'happy paintings'!

This is actually painted from a photo taken in Schulenburg, Tx.  I've
done a couple of others from this same farm, but in this one the sky
is totally different and it was captivating.  Love Texas!

I've been painting abstract landscapes with a very low horizon line
and now I'm doing some with a very high horizon line.  I really like
the 'extreme' look of both.  I can take oodles of photos, but when it
comes down to the actual painting, I just seem to draw two or three
lines to get started.  Love to finish with my 'signature' scribble!

From my new series (yet untitled).  I love to paint pears
and have done them in many ways.  This painting happened to
be one that, when I thought I had finished, I didn't like.  It 
happens and I really don't like it when that happens.  
I repainted it and now I do like it.  Floating pears, 
suspended pears, whatever.  I think it's fun.
